Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using the TappedIn platform, whether as an individual user or as a representative of a group, you ("User" or "Group") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the TappedIn platform.
2. Complete Immunity of TappedIn, Inc.
2.1 No Liability for Events:
TappedIn, Inc. ("TappedIn") provides a platform for Users and Groups to organize and share information about events. TappedIn is not responsible for, and assumes no liability for, anything that occurs before, during, or after any event promoted, organized, or associated with any User or Group through the TappedIn platform.
2.2 No Liability for Event Information:
TappedIn is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any event information provided by Users or Groups. All event information, including but not limited to dates, locations, descriptions, and capacities, is provided by Users or Groups, and TappedIn assumes no liability for any errors, omissions, or misrepresentations.
2.3 No Liability for Conduct:
TappedIn is not responsible for the conduct of any User, Group, or event participant. Users and Groups are solely responsible for their actions and the actions of their event participants.
3. Compliance with University Policies and Procedures
3.1 Mandatory Compliance:
All Users and Groups agree to comply with all applicable university policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, rules regarding event planning, venue use, alcohol consumption, noise ordinances, and safety regulations. Non-compliance may result in termination of access to the TappedIn platform without notice.
3.2 Verification of Compliance:
Users and Groups are solely responsible for verifying that their events and activities comply with all university policies and procedures. TappedIn assumes no responsibility for monitoring or enforcing compliance.
4. Assumption of All Liabilities by Users and Groups
4.1 Full Responsibility for Event Capacity and Safety:
Users and Groups are solely responsible for ensuring that their events do not exceed venue capacities, and that all safety measures, including but not limited to fire codes, crowd control, and emergency procedures, are properly implemented. TappedIn assumes no liability for any harm, injury, or loss resulting from non-compliance with these obligations.
4.2 Full Responsibility for Legal Compliance:
Users and Groups are solely responsible for ensuring that their events comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to those related to alcohol, drugs, minors, permits, and noise regulations. TappedIn assumes no liability for any legal violations or consequences arising from the conduct of any event.
4.3 Indemnification of TappedIn:
Users and Groups agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TappedIn, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (a) their use of the TappedIn platform, (b) the organization, promotion, or conduct of any event, or (c) their violation of these Terms, any applicable laws, or the rights of any third party.
5. Termination and Account Suspension
5.1 Termination by TappedIn:
TappedIn reserves the right to terminate or suspend any User or Group account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms or any applicable laws.
5.2 No Refunds:
In the event of account termination or suspension, Users and Groups are not entitled to any refund of fees paid for access to the TappedIn platform or any services provided therein.
6. Modification of Terms
TappedIn reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on the TappedIn platform. Continued use of the TappedIn platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in [Insert County], [Insert State].
8. Severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Users, Groups, and TappedIn with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to such subject matter.
By using the TappedIn platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
